| Dear Birthfamily |
First of all, thank you for considering us to be the adoptive parents of your child. We know this is a difficult time for you. Although we are excited about becoming parents, we also realize that you face enormous decisions concerning your future and that of your child. We wish you all the best as you go through the process. After learning more about us, we hope you’ll feel comfortable with us and will trust that your child would be in good hands.

| Our Home |
For the past seven years, we’ve lived in a townhouse complex in northern New Jersey. We have a spacious, three bedroom home, and just finished the basement, which can be used as a playroom. The complex has a pool, tennis courts, and a playground, with an adjacent park, baseball field and basketball courts.
There are a number of young families with children in the neighborhood, and the kids often play together, so we’re sure they wouldn’t mind adding one more to the group!
One of the things we love about the area is that it’s a suburban environment with a lot of open space, but it’s also a short drive to Manhattan, so we’re able to take advantage of all that the city has to offer. Our town has an excellent school system, which was rated 7th in New Jersey, and it was also rated one of the top towns in the state to raise a family.

| Family and Friends |
As for the extended family, all of them are excited about our plans to adopt. Bill’s parents, Herb and Ginny, live in Manhattan and look forward to doing some baby-sitting, while Holly’s mother Lila lives in Florida and is eager to come up and visit her first grandchild. Bill has a younger sister Carrie who lives in Manhattan, and a younger brother Dave who lives in central New Jersey with his wife Jeri and their two children, 5 year old Arly and 2 year old Ben, who are both thrilled about the chance to have a cousin to play with.
